Description
Last year Culpeo-Fox and I found a dead beech marten alongside the road. We didn't have the heart to simply bury it, so it was given to a taxidermist for preparation - and this is the result.
It's just a quick blurry snapshot but I like it anyway. I know that taxidermy etc. is a very sensitive topic but I'm happy to see a part of the animal's essence being preserved. Fierce little warrior.

Taxidermy is only sensitive to me when people use it to preserve their trophy hunts (and maybe using it to preserve pets). I'm against hunting for sport as a rule, but otherwise taxidermy a valuable education and art tool. Finding a dead animal on the side of the road and preserving it via taxidermy is a perfectly fine thing to do.
