Reading the comments below made me nod in agreement to various ways one can pull off expression. I'm guilty of the facial kind myself, but I'm absolutely dependent on having at least another element for interaction, so that the main character isn't just randomly posing for the camera. It's not necessarily boring, though, depending on how it's executed. The interaction in your pieces never fails to captivate me, and in this style this aspect becomes more prominent (and perhaps more important) than ever. It's as if the elements become one, while creating a tensity or a story at the same time.
The Rain. The kind of city's tears The kind of nature bleeding, crying out What can you see? The dreams. The fears. What are your dreams about? This gray-stoned walls - your forest now Your home, your God, your newest Mother Gaya This trees electric have no shadows, so You cannot hide no more, my little liar. :3
