Is "Ekkalasq" an ancient meaning for seal, or is it the name of a certain seal monster from a legend or something? Just curious.:) I love your art. It reminds me of old legends I used to hear about creatures that would eat you if you came to close to the arctic waterès edge. I believe they were called Qallupilluit?

I think this is one of your best leopard-seal works. The language is very intriguing - it seems to me like a cross between Old Norse and Inuktitut.
